The Hang Ups

The Hang Ups are a collective of musicians who have provided backing for various Big AC Records artists since the label was founded in 2020.

Featuring Sahil Batra (keys), Florian Bel (bass), Michael Hussain (drums), Stephen Springall (lead guitar) and label co-founder Nick Corbin (guitar), the group have featured on modern soul classics from the likes of Carmy Love, Abi Farrell and Emma Noble as well as touring with The Big AC Soul Revue in 2022.

Autumn 2023 sees Nick Corbin and The Hang Ups release their first 7” single, featuring two songs recorded direct to tape at Durham Sound Studio in Kentish Town.
