As we head towards brighter days, this is exactly the kind of music we all need; joyous, uplifting and triumphant. Carmy delivers a beautiful vocal with more than a hint of gospel influence. Augmented by shimmering guitars and emphatic brass, “Rebel” is sure to put a spring in your step.
Carmy Love wrote “Rebel” several years ago but the lyrics feel unnervingly prescient, taking on an entirely different meaning in 2021. Having performed the song regularly with New Street Adventure, fans of the band will welcome the chance to hear this former live favourite in all its studio glory.
